Alejandro D. Echeverria

Alejandro D. Echeverria is an associate attorney at Cherry Johnson Siegmund James focusing on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. He represents clients in patent, trademark, and copyright matters before federal courts, as well as the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and the International Trade Commission.

Alejandro supports all phases of litigation, including infringement and invalidity analysis, claim construction, discovery, and motion practice. He also advises clients on enforcement and portfolio strategy. Prior to his litigation practice, he worked as both a patent agent and attorney, prosecuting U.S. and PCT patent applications.

Before entering the legal profession, Alejandro worked as a senior engineer in the aerospace and energy industries, bringing a strong technical foundation to complex matters.

He earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law and holds engineering degrees from Johns Hopkins University and San Diego State University. Alejandro is fluent in Spanish, and recognized as a Top Lawyers Under 40 by the Hispanic National Bar Association.
