Laura J. Tapper is an experienced intellectual property paralegal with more than two decades of experience supporting attorneys across the full lifecycle of U.S., PCT, and foreign patent and trademark matters. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Paralegal Certificate from the ABA‑approved program at Southwestern Paralegal Institute in Houston. She has held several professional leadership roles, including serving as Chair of the Intellectual Property Section for the Dallas Area Paralegal Association (DAPA), and is a past recipient of DAPA's Paralegal of the Year and Volunteer of the Year awards. Laura brings the same level of passion and dedication to her personal pursuits, which include home renovations, playing the piano, animal rescue, and supporting local wildlife.
