With a foundation in two engineering degrees and over two decades of experience in intellectual property, Ryan offers sophisticated counsel to startups, individuals, universities, and established companies facing complex patent and trademark challenges.

A nationally recognized litigator, Ryan has established a formidable track record in high-stakes patent disputes. As lead counsel in more than 240 inter partes review (IPR) proceedings, his success earned him recognition from Patexia as the nation's #1 attorney representing patent owners for four consecutive years. His extensive courtroom experience is further demonstrated by appearances in over 300 federal district patent cases and 75 appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Beyond the courtroom, Ryan is a trusted advisor dedicated to building and protecting his clients' core assets. He represents a diverse clientele, including professional athletes, in safeguarding brand identity through strategic trademark planning and management. He has also advised athletes and celebrities on name, image, and likeness (NIL) issues.
